In the General tab of the Preferences dialog, there is an option called Show Onboard when unlocking the screen. By activating this option, Onboard will configure the Unlock Screen application to show the Onboard on-screen keyboard when the dialog to unlock the computer appears. This way, the user can type the password to unlock the screen even if he cannot use a hardware keyboard.

If another on-screen keyboard is set to appear with the Unlock Screen dialog and the embedding option gets activated in Onboard, Onboard will simply overwrite the setting and set itself to appear with the Unlock Screen dialog.
