<title>Embed <app>Onboard</app></title>
<p>In the <gui>General</gui> tab of the <app>Preferences</app> dialog, there is an option called <gui>Show Onboard when unlocking the screen</gui>. By activating this option, <app>Onboard</app> will configure the <app>Unlock Screen</app> application to show the <app>Onboard</app> on-screen keyboard when the dialog to unlock the computer appears. This way, the user can type the password to unlock the screen even if he cannot use a hardware keyboard.</p>

<note style="warning">
<p>If another on-screen keyboard is set to appear with the <app>Unlock Screen</app> dialog and the embedding option gets activated in <app>Onboard</app>, <app>Onboard</app> will simply overwrite the setting and set itself to appear with the <app>Unlock Screen</app> dialog.</p>
